Connect with Kimberly
As leaders we have a responsibility to make a positive impact on those that we lead. Employees aggregate their daily experiences together to determine their level of engagement, happiness at work, and your success as a leader. You, as their leader, are the one determining whether the majority of their daily experiences, are positive or negative. Leadership determines if your employees stay or they go.
Kimberly Layne is CEO and Founder of The Kimberly Connection Company (KCC), where she is passionate about turning around the performance of companies by improving “broken cultures” through healthier connections between leaders and their teams (www.kimberly-layne.com).
What makes KCC different? Every leader is different and has unique strengths and weaknesses. Every company has different goals depending on timing. Are you needing to create Leaders who can manage high degree of change and transition, or Leaders who can coach and mentor confident and successful people to promote from within to build your organization organically, or is it Leaders who can foster team work and collaboration to complete projects across functional departments for on time and Big Client Wins! We build out a custom leadership development plan that is executed with one on one accountability and conversational coaching.
Kimberly believes that a decade of downsizing, corporate restructuring, process improvement, and automation has taken a toll on front-line workers that has gone unrecognized by company leaders. With the advent of Glassdoor and other public forums for employee grievances, unsettled employees now have a more public and direct impact on a company’s growth prospects and they’re not afraid to share their opinions publicly.
As a professional speaker, author, consultant, and leadership advisor, Kimberly speaks to the importance of stepping into "Modern Leadership," which is "Connected Leadership," which includes transparency, vulnerability, and good communication coupled with an organization’s need to create a culture of community, and common purpose to attract and retain top talent.
She educates, inspires, coaches and nurtures leaders at all levels (managers, supervisors, directors, executives) on how to improve culture and build deeper and more sustainable connections that retain and attract top talent through real work context and conversations, not through a certification course.
By working with KCC through proactive mentoring, culture turn-around consulting, and long-term culture maintenance with ongoing "leadership connection roundtable meetings," one on one coaching, and workshops, companies can see significant improvements in employee engagement, quality, innovation and focus that leads to a healthier bottom line.
